The ninth annual Beachhead Tabletop Games Expo is taking place on the 8th and 9th of February, 2025. Held at the UK’s Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), Beachhead was started in 2014 by Pete Valinksi and his team at Entoyment Wargaming & Hobby Centre in Poole, UK. This year, the event has expanded once again, and will include a larger lineup of exhibitors, attractions, and tournaments than ever before.
With Beachhead 2025 covering all aspects of tabletop gaming, there’s truly something for everyone. Across the weekend, attendees will be able to take part in participation games, roleplay sessions, demos, playtesting opportunities, and introductory games with exhibitors, including Coiledspring Games, Asmodee, and Warlord Games, among many more.
As well as this, visitors can expect to find exciting new features, such as a miniature painting competition (hosted by the renowned miniature painter, Duncan Rhodes), painting masterclasses hosted by Cult of Paint, and officially sanctioned tournaments, such as Flesh & Blood – Road to Nationals.

One aspect of the event that we’ve always enjoyed (and one that’ll likely be of most interest to Card Gamer readers) is the excellent Board Game Zone, which features over 100 tabletop games (including card games!) that can be played for free over the course of the weekend. You’ll also find a Card Game Zone at the event, sponsored by Vault X, where you can play Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, Magic: The Gathering, and more!
Having attended the 2024 event, we here at Card Gamer can confirm that Beachhead is a fantastic experience for fans of all types of tabletop gaming, and tickets can now be purchased directly from the Beachhead Tabletop Games Expo website.
Want to check out our previous coverage of Beachhead? Last year, we got a hands on, extended play of Star Wars Unlimited at Beachhead, prior to the release of the popular TCG’s first set, as well as being able to check out lesser known titles such as Achroma. What new and upcoming games will we discover at this year’s event? Stay tuned to Card Gamer, and find out!
