With two Pokémon Trading Card Game (or TCG) sets already released in 2025, it’s time to look ahead to the third. Following the launch of Prismatic Evolutions in January and Journey Together in March, the next set, Destined Rivals, will be released in May 2025. Destined Rivals features cards from the Japanese sets, Heat Wave Arena and The Glory of Team Rocket; let’s take a look at the cards revealed so far.

The set code for Destined Rivals is DRI, and you can see this in the bottom left of each card (the EN beside the set code notes that it’s the English version of the card). Next to this on each card is the specific card number; these are numbered from 1-182, as there are 182 cards in the Destined Rivals main set. Here are the cards we’ve seen so far:

Though each Pokémon set has a designated number of cards, if you’re lucky enough, you’ll also find cards in booster packs which are numbered above the “official” number of cards in a set. These are known collectively as Secret Rare cards, and they tend to most commonly be alternate art and special foil treated variants of other cards found in the set. They also tend to be the most highly sought after, and therefore valuable, cards in any given set. In Destined Rivals, we know that the number of cards in the main set is 182; therefore, the Secret Rare cards are numbered from 183 onwards.
